Easy Buttery Flaky Pie Crust

This pie crust makes buttery flaky pie crust every time.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 ½ cups all purpose flour About 325 grams
  • 1 tsp pink salt
  • 2 tbs sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter cold, cubed into ½ inch pieces
  • ½ cup water ice cold

Instructions
 

  • Combine flour, salt, & sugar
  • Sprinkle butter pieces over the flour mixture
  • Mix COMPLETELY together until crumby.
    You can use your hand, a dough cutter, fork or food processor after this point.
  • Add ice water in increments. Mix each amount completely before adding more. Mixture should form a ball (or clusters/smaller balls in the food processor)
  • Form ball and cut in half
  • Flatten each half, wrap in plastic wrap & chill for at last 1 hour.
  • Use as desired
