Hint Natural Flavored Water Review, Flavors & Ingredients List [Healthy Drink Review]

You are probably in search of this product review because you want something tastier than water that is still good for you and won’t crash your diet, recharge bad cravings, or knock you off track altogether. You may also be wondering if this stuff is really all natural or just ‘all natural’, lol. Don’t worry, we had some of the same reservations and questions about this beverage as well before trying it which is why we want to share our experience with you today.

As previously mentioned, we first found this water a couple of months ago when trying to find healthier drink options. I mean, we’re all for water and everything but it just gets boring after a while and when you see everyone else enjoying their treats you want a slice of the pie too…yet still trying to dodge all the unhealthiness of it all.

If you don’t know, we’re big time soda addicts which obviously isn’t a good thing. Even juices are deceptive, sugar bombs and our health is important to us so we decided to take control instead of leaning on bad excuses. Yeah, we get you!

What you’ll likely find is that a lot of supposedly ‘good’ alternatives either have replacements that are even worse than the original product or/and do not hold up to the claims made on the front of the packaging.

Always, always ALWAYS read the back ingredient and other information labels. You may be surprised about your honey being corn syrup among a ton of other thiiiiings instead of honey but mums the word. 😉

Benefits of Drinking Hint Flavored Water

There are a few particular benefits to drinking this beverage including:

  • staying hydrated
  • cutting down sugars and other unhealthy substances
  • treating yourself without blowing your diet
  • drinking something flavored without blowing your diet
  • gives you something to drink besides bland water

Staying hydrated is key to maintaining a well-balanced body. Many of us don’t realize the importance of keeping hydrated. Dehydration can mask itself in many common symptoms that are typically associated with other occurrences such as hunger, sickness and body aches.

One particular occurrence that happens to me is leg cramping. I have noticed that when I drink a lot of sugary beverages my legs cramp to the point that it’s painful to walk. By drinking Hint instead, my legs do not cramp while at the same time, I don’t miss sweets at all. Both instances are with eating properly balanced meals.

In addition, do you know that in addition to the sugars in soda, the dyes and other additives also have, or lead to, harmful effects on your body like inflammation and stroke? So by drinking Hint water instead of even just one can of soda per day you’re saving your health big time.

You should also know that diet sodas are also bad for you. Research suggests that diet sodas are linked to abnormalities in brain signaling functions, hormone regulation, diabetes, and kidney function to name a few.

How To Use Hint Flavored Water?

The way you use it is up to you. Some people do not like the taste of water so they opt for flavored water. If you are like that too, then you can drink this instead of other flavored brands of water that can have harmful additives.

Personally, I like water so I only drink this water sometimes if I feel like something flavored to drink. Since these are all natural and have very little flavor from fruits, you don’t have to worry about sugar consumption either.

Who Is Hint Flavored Water For?

If you ask me, everyone should drink this water! But in particular, it is for those who are in search of something better to drink. The fridges are slammed full with sugar loaded drinks whether it is soda, milk, juice or beer.

You’ve realized the harmful effects of the many ingredients these beverages are made up of and really want something delicious to drink. I can totally relate because that’s EXACTLY what led us to stumbling across this product in the first place.

Here’s a video we did if you are interested in seeing our live reactions the very first time we tasted this product.

My Overall Recommendation Of Hint Water

I highly recommend you try this water. It’s not easy to find these in the coolers at gas stations so get a cooler to keep in your car if you prefer them cold. If not, they’re delicious room temperature too.

Some flavors are stronger than others so try them all and see which you like. They also make great options for smoothies and other healthy beverages as a replacement for milk, creams and other liquids that may add some unwanted calories or other ingredients that you want to avoid. You might just want a change of flavor too which is what I do too.

Again, here some quick reference info if you are interested in trying this product too.

  • I want to know what the Natural Flavors are made up of, or from? I understand Water is Water, but to gain a taste of a fruit… either you place juice or extract of the fruit in the drink, or such is created… If Natural Flavor that is from the fruit.. it has to have the Natural Sugar(s) of that fruit…

    • Hey Fred!

Thanks for your comment and great question. You are correct in saying that fruit has sugar but remember that Hint is a fruit infusion. That means that the essence of the fruit is there.

Not like a smoothy where you’re blending up the entire piece of fruit. Also with a proper infusion, the fruit doesn’t degrade or anything.

If you want to be technical there is probably some very very minuscule amount of sugar but it’s not enough to account for anything.

      Hope this helps 🙂

  • This water is good for diabetics.I do think it’s important to list the other natural flavors from non-GMO plants as some people are allergic to different fruits. Thank you.

    • I’m not sure what you’re referring to but the ingredients are water and natural flavors. Like I said, at the end of the day we all need to read the labels and take our own due diligence.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. If you have something to add please do so so that we may all learn and be properly informed
