Ingredients

All-Purpose Flour

Baking Soda

tsp
Salt
Any salt works
1
cup
Butter
Softened, Unsalted to control salt content

cup
Brown Sugar
Dark is best
3/4
cup
Sugar

tsp
Vanilla Extract

Jumbo preferably

Semi-sweet chocolate bits

nuts of choice
optional, I do not put nuts in mine but feel free to add what you want
Instructions
Combine butter and both sugars. Mix thoroughly.
Add eggs and vanilla. Mix until combined.
In a separate bowl combine all dry ingredients. Mix so that baking soda is combined.
Add dry ingredients in increments. Mix each amount all the way until adding more.
Add chocolate chips and other additions last. Mix until combined.
